ARMAS-festival

The Armas festival consists of various events, exhibitions, performances and other programs every year. The Armas network includes more than 60 operators; artists, organizations in the art field, organizations for elderly care and municipal actors. The Armas festival has been organized in autumn since 2017, but from 2024 the festival was moved to spring.

ARMAS was part of the official program of the anniversary of Finland’s independence in 2017, but ARMAS originally sought its prototype from abroad. The Bealtaine festival has been organized in Ireland for more than 20 years. Other creative aging festivals include Scotland’s Luminate and Wales’ Gwanwyn.
